LSC — The Details

The LSC system consists of a VdS-approved smoke vent control panel and a VdS-approved smoke suction system. The entire system has been design-tested by the TÜV.

In addition to smoke gas detection in the lift shaft, the exit level on the ground floor (main evacuation area for the lift) is monitored by a fire detector in order to prevent evacuation runs into what may be a smoke-filled area.

The LSC system offers the possibility of hygienic air renewal by means of the corresponding sensors.

The LSC system has complete emergency power supply through integrated, maintenance-free storage batteries.

• Extension of the emergency power supply time to 72 hours incl. the smoke suction system

Commissioning

In order to ensure fast installation and commissioning of the system, it is pre-tested in the factory and delivered ready for operation. All the above components can be connected very quickly and easily to the LSM module. The desired functions are set by means of a dip switch and the system parameterised.

Safety Features

All lines, e.g. to the central fire alarm unit or to the fire detectors in the evacuation level, are functionally monitored. In addition, the fire detector and the smoke vent button are monitored to prevent theft or sabotage.

All safety-related information on the smoke and heat vent, or any faults, are shown on the control and display panel of the control cabinet door.
